What is an SREC or REC?
A Renewable Energy Credit (REC) proves that 1 MWh of clean electricity was generated by your system. In New Jersey, homeowners earn SRECs that can be sold to utilities — turning your production into cash payments.
What does Auto Solar Payouts actually do?
We manage the entire process to make payouts automatic, transparent, and hands-free:

Is there a sign-up fee or a fee to close my account?
$0 to open and $0 to close. No setup or exit fees — ever.
How fast do I get paid?
Based on your state’s issuance cycle (monthly/quarterly). After sale & settlement, we send automatic ACH deposits.

Fees & Pricing (how it works)

Our pricing is simple and performance-based. We take a small management fee per SREC sale (registration, compliance, aggregation, sale execution, payouts).

There’s also a minimum service fee per SREC. You pay either the % fee or the per-SREC minimum — never both.

  • If the % fee is less than the minimum → we charge the minimum.
  • If the % fee is greater or equal → we charge the % fee.

The minimum per SREC never exceeds 50% of the REC transaction value.
